BC Ethics in Action Awards (EIA):  DKE served as project manager for this complex event in 2001.  Responsibilities included developing a province-wide campaign to solicit nominations, management of the awards decision-making process, ticket sales and media relations. The 400-attendee Awards Ceremony was held at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver.  The seven event sponsors included Vancouver City Savings Credit Union (VanCity) and Mountain Equipment Co-op.  DKE handled ticket sales and distribution for the 2003 and 2004 EIA Awards. VanCity "Million Dollar Award" Ceremony:  In 2001, VanCity launched a new initiative – the award of one million dollars to a worthy project.  Members of this community-oriented credit union voted Better Environmentally Sound Transportation (BEST) the winner. DKE assisted VanCity with the exhibit portion of the award ceremony, which was held at the old city hall on Main Street in Vancouver.
