Vancouver Climate Change Workshops: DKE implemented a multi-stakeholder invitation strategy for two climate change workshops of 120 people, sponsored by the provincial Ministry of Water, Land and Air Protection.  DKE also handled venue management and registration for the Vancouver events, which were held in the summer of 2002. Local, provincial and federal climate change strategies, plans and policy options were presented and discussed.

Provincial Climate Change Economic Impacts Panel:  In 2002-2003, DKE provided secretariat services for the provincially-appointed Climate Change Economic Impacts Panel.  This eleven-member multi-sector panel, appointed by the provincial Ministry of Water, Land and Air Protection and Ministry of Energy and Mines, developed strategies to guide BC's responses to dealing with greenhouse gas emissions and climate change, and presented them in report form and in meetings with the ministers involved and representatives of the Premier's office.
